I have read the first chapter in my first sitting. This is my first book of the year and the first time I’ve decided to read in quite a while. I have my book light on an orange tone and using a red moleskin cahier to write down any words I am unsure of.

2nd chapter done, Eva is moving in to the house. Isa is lonely and speaks of times in the war that have all morphed in to one- the unhappiness of her brothers and the fear of losing the house to Louis
