Finished till Induced Homomorphisms. At least the proof that pi_1(S^1) = Z clicked with me now, though I skipped the proof of statement (c) on page 30. Managed to get to the 2-d Borsuk-Ulam theorem, which is good. My head hurts now, so I will stop here at "Induced Homeomorphisms".
