OK, this is slow going for me but that is largely because I only have a Kindle copy and I can only read it on my laptop, which is not the easiest way to read! I am still finding a decent read although the deviations from the original continue to annoy. Hengest and Horsa should not be in this story. There were no gladiatorial games in Rome circa AD500. Worst, a large group of people is not a "hoard", it is a "horde."
