I honestly don’t understand the fuss about this author. I much prefer the elegant pathos of “Foyle’s War”. I’ll never understand why popular contemporary authors feel the need to constantly repeat the plot line of the story. We know you’re working 50/50 with Hawthorne! We know you have to get some personal details to make your book interesting! Do you have to remind us every few chapters??
