While Ham has some good points, his prose is often repetitive and redundant. I feel at times he forgets or changes his target audience, and his voice is entirely too casual for what he aims to be a textbook. One second he’s using superfluous language and claiming a tactic to be a theory and the next he’s effectively bashing himself saying the “fanciness” of words ruins a theme.
