I’m having the most fun! Tamora Pierce really nailing the side character dynamics since day 1, I feel like I’m there and I love all my friends.
Now that I’m rereading it, I’m realizing how much the graphic novel sanitized the story and reduced the side characters. I feel like they wanted it to be kid friendly, but this is so much better.
