Most of what lawyers have believed was refuted by Boetie. About 100 years after the fall of the Eastern Roman Empire. There was just then starting to be a Third Rome. Why did this introduction have to be written in the 20th century? I'm sure someone who knows something about law can probably place it 2000 years earlier or something like that.
