I was baptized Catholic but wasn't raised in religion. I never made communion and in getting older I don't understand all the dynamics of religion. I believe that there is a God. I believe in praying the rosary(although I don't know how), I believe in saints. I have friends of all denominations in religion and I respect their beliefs. But I don't go to Church.

Everyone is a critic. Who of us can truly say that if they had the means to spend 4 months is a place they've always dreamed of that they wouldn't indulge, enjoy and experience it the way they felt comfortable with. In the chances I did travel, I always sample the foods that places are known for. And ohhhh to learn another language.

I read a review that was negative about the writer. Calling her snobbish and infereing that she was a rich woman basically whinning about her life. But, I mean if we were to write about our own lives wouldnt it seem to the outsider reading it as something negative. Its a great thing that she wrote this book, I am glad she did and will continue reading and follow it with the movie. Good on You!
