This is to the end of The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, a collection of 12 short stories. My favourite was the last one although they were quite commercial and the "mystery" could be worked out before Holmes gave us the key. But the way the last one was written was slightly different and better.

This is up to the end of The Sign of Four, the second Sherlock Holmes novel. I am really enjoying the dynamics and rhythm of Doyle's writing. I've also noticed something that R. Osman talked about in an interview about his TMC books: when someone talks, Doyle usually only uses "he said" or "said I" and possibly a descriptive word if necessary, very rarely any other word.

I finished A Study in Scarlet and asking myself "how have I not read it already?"
I am really enjoying Doyle's style of writing and storytelling. I want to watch the Sherlock Holmes series with Cumberpatch and Freeman again! Somehow, although it is an Audible book, with the voice of Stephen Fry narrating, his voice sounds like Freeman's and Cumberpatch's somehow!
