1/4 of the book, and i am shaken to the core. It’s the perfect mix between learning from stats and real life experiences. As a black woman currently living in a predominantly white country, i’ve felt seen. It’s about seeing those occidental countries as « developed » and thinking we’re safe. Truth is, this wealth was built on the hatred of my people. Racism and sexism still kill us, just differently.
