Nooo T-T Alphard why are you making me hate you. I hope to see Maeve put him in his place. “I am beyond you in ways you can’t even fathom” is a good start though.

I see why people like Reeve but I love Mal the most. The way he so willingly let go of himself to save her in the cave from the Gryndylow. We love a protective king

Wow an attack on the school! For Maeve and Mal to be able to feel the schools magic weakening means it must be pretty serious, I wonder if it’s Kietel.

Wowow. When Maeve leaped into Rolf’s mind and Kietel immediately sees her? We get the first in person look at how vicious Kietel is, willing to get rid of one of his own men in an attempt to take out the intruder. Maeve is now in some serious danger, and I’m very interested in how she will handle the upcoming threats.

“And you think you’re the one for the job?”
“The alternatives are grim.”

Love it! Playful arguments like that are quite enjoyable to me. We are beginning to see the true developing of Mal and Maeve’s intertwinement.

The start of the magic setup is interesting so far, as well as Mal and Maeve’s dynamic, as I was expecting a more hateful dynamic not the kind of friendly rivalry I’m seeing so far. Excited to learn more about this mind ability Maeve mentioned.
