Wow. It’s really picking up. The wording is kinda hard, I wouldn’t say it’s a hard read but it’s def not an easy read. Once it picks up though it’s easier to follow. It’s definitely got a lot of mystery. My original theory I don’t think is correct but I don’t think I’m wrong either… there’s definitely something not human going on.

So I got pretty far, Preston and Effys relationship is like BOOMING, the book turned from YA to Adult real quick, nothing crazy but I didn’t really see this book doing that. Effy low key supersized me with how bold she is. She’s emotional but always pushing herself and having to survive (which is really sad) all the men in this book are trash other than Preston. They suck and piss me off. So close to being done!

Wowwwww that’s all I have to say… crazy. The poor girl is fighting some crazy shit by herself with this scary ass fairy king coming after her.

Abt to start ch 9… I can’t tell if Effy (main character) is actually seeing things or if she’s going crazy. I think she’s actually seeing things and if That’s the case the last chapter was crazy. The poor girl is basically alone and afraid to tell anyone what she’s seeing in case they call her crazy (like her stupid mother). Hopefully Preston will see it soon…

Slow start, only just getting into chapter 8? Chapter 7? Long chapters for being over 100 pages only like 300 page book. It’s starting to get interesting, very different from my normal reads. A little to real at times and the main characters trauma is A LOT and it’s barely been talked about mostly because she’s obviously traumatized. But it picking up soooo we’ll see how I’ll like it by the end.
