I'll take my simple quiet life over his famous life any day.

He talks about his PTSD.

Doesn’t matter the cause, the symptoms are the same. It’s a nervous system injury.

I knew he joined the military and went to Afghanistan but I always imagined it was cushy and just for show. Nope.

I’m impressed that he actually went to war in Afghanistan.

I don't know if I believe all of what he writes, but it's keeping my interest. I think he might be downplaying some of his choices which is a pretty human trait really. Military training sounds brutal.

Grateful that I'm just a lowly commoner.
