Reading Greg Constance translation and MAN! this shit can be quite confusing, part of me wishes i got a newer translation but it’s cool. I really enjoy the book so far, the story of Maglemedov, the drunk in the tavern who’s a little too open about his personal life was fantastically written.

books still super good, Raskolnikov is actually off his rocker now, completely hallucinating the beating of his landlady by Petrovich. Every chapter i’ve read so far has a so good you can’t stop reading group of paragraphs that reels me back in whenever i find the language boring and a bit archaic.
