This story is breaking me.

I’ve been teaching Of Mice and Men and “The Harvest Gypsies” for almost two decades, and this book adds so much emotion and description to what I thought I understood about the Depression and migrant work.

Intrigued and feeling lots of connections with Of Mice and Men. And I could listen to Julia Whelan read the phone book.
