Chapter 13. Mr. Bennett’s cousin is coming to dinner. He is now a clergy and wants to make amends with his family. He is set to inherit the Bennett home if Mr Bennett dies. He assures the family that he wants only the best for the family. Seems odd to me that he is the natural successor for the family instead of Mr Bennett’s family.

Chapter 12. Elizabeth and Jane return home. Mrs. Bennett was trying to get them to stay for the week. Elizabeth was done with being at the the Bingley estate. Mr Darcy was also glad they left as he is falling for Elizabeth.

Chapter 11. Seems Elizabeth is defending Mr Darcy and his character. And Mr Darcy is concerned he may have paid too much attention to Elizabeth.

Chapter 10. The socializing and the games and Mr Darcy. The games that I see these families playing with their clever words is all a lot of social posturing.

Chapter 9. Jane is still sick and staying at Bingley’s home while recuperating. Elizabeth is still smitten with Darcy. Darcy’s short, unaccepted comments seem to get him ousted a lot.

Chapter 8. Jane is worse. The Bingleys do a lot of backstabbing of Elizabeth when she is not around. Elizabeth is attentive to her sister and her illness. Me Darcy is enhanced by Elizabeth. Mr. Bingley is concerned about Jane.

Chapter 7. Jane goes to the Bingley’s and catches a cold and then stays with them. There are officers stationed in town which has the eyes of the younger sisters.

Chapter 5. Miss Lucas provides confirmation that Bingley had a keen interest in Jane. They debate about Mr. Darcy’s pride and whether it is founded.

Chapter 2. Mr Bennett secretly goes and meets Mr Bingley. He reveals his secret meeting to his wife and daughters who are thrilled.
