about halfway through - i am absolutely loving this book, i’m so invested in what happens next! the story is complicated and woven through with many different aspects that build the world: the colonialism/politics, the personalities of the characters and the dynamics between them, the magic almost as a character itself! its become so real to me im enthusiastically eating it up.
