After a deep dive on reddit and the discovery that approximately no one knows exactly which characters are real, who the true narrator is, and what a good portion of the puzzles translate to/mean in the context of the main story OR the footnotes, I have decided this behemoth is outstandingly pretentious. Good book tho.
