Taking a break from this 2hr long chapter; literally. The story is really good, however the chapters are soooooo long. The only thing getting me through it is the audiobook, otherwise I would’ve dnf’d it. I can understand why we need the background info on this particular character, but do the chapters have to be so long??? 😴😴😴

This book is SO sad. Omg. As someone who was interested in learning about the holocaust in the 7th grade, this book is great, but OMG it is so sad.

Okay so the other POV from last update was good. Back in Sage’s POV and she’s still trying to turn in Josef lmaoooo but is he lying ab who he is??

Okay, so now she wants to turn him into the FBI. Also, just got to another POV for the first time, so I’m interested to see who this person is 🤔

OH! So I kept reading and Josef is a Nazi…

First book of the year. Let’s go!! Also, so far I feel maternal toward Josef. Why does he lowkey have secrets that I want to know about? I love that him and Sage have a friendship. BUT he just asked her for assisted suicide???
