I realized a while back that I’d read the entire trilogy years ago. A few scenes and phrases reminded me, but I could recall nothing specific about the story.

The reason is likely because very little happens. Halfway through book two, and very little has changed for the protagonist nor the world in general.

Yet despite this stasis, it’s still an enjoyable read.
