Don't Look Now
The titular story definitely hooked me, though the random mention of hermaphrodites & "good ol' Musso knowing what to do with the Italians" & "too many Communists nowadays" threw me. I will ponder upon these inclusions and see how they add to perhaps our main character's paranoia or his sense of/attunement to the "real" world.
Very sudden, yet sort of expected ended.
