Does this get any better? I like the writing style but it is boring and nothing has happened / nothing is even building in 112 pages. I am assuming that it is this slow paced throughout the book and that’s why it’s 1024 pages long?

I’m listening to the Audibook and feeling exactly the same! Nothing is happening at all and I’m bored!

Yeah it really feels like a chore to read and I also feel a bit like I’ve been dropped into the middle of something - I really feel like I’ve missed something but I’m assuming you have to read at least 500 pages to understand 😂
