*sigh* this seems to be one of those books in a slow burn series that once the couple is finally together and have had sex, they then bicker and fight and withhold sex from each other all under the guise to maintain their independence and create continued conflict

This author has fallen into lazy form of writing where once we’re past “will they/won’t they” they mustn’t
