erm, it was pretty slow through the beginning and then it’ll randomly get super tense for 2 sentences. once hester got onto the island the story was SO MUCH BETTER. it’s kind of wearing down now that it’s so focused on this toxic ahh relationship but i have hope. over half way done :D
