25% update - i’m going to convey my main issue with this so far with one example. in one scene, when cal blushes, his face turns white. a child with basic elementary reading skills and anyone capable of using critical thinking would understand why that is. but no, the author has to explain that the reason for that is because his blood is silver, not red. WELL OBVIOUSLY.
