summer thunder: ♾️/10. perfect way to end the book. i LOVE dystopian/end of the world stories. heart. breaking. but ohhh, so good.

drunken fireworks: 10/10. i LOVE this super postmodern style with the unbroken monologue. the phonetic spelling always makes me laugh, too

blockade billy: second time reading this. i still think i would enjoy it more if i understood anything at all about baseball, but it’s a fun read nonetheless

herman wouk is still alive: 9/10. beautifully heavy and haunting. those poor babies :(
