Without Limit feels refreshingly human, letting Lara grieve a lost love. It’s powerful seeing the world’s bravest adventurer stumble through complex emotions, proving courage doesn’t make love—or loss—any easier.

Every expedition has a cost.

Jungle of Honduras delivers payoff long teased, finally revealing what went down between Lara and Chase in Monaco. Chase’s arc hits hard—flawed, brave, and ultimately defined by a meaningful sacrifice that gives the adventure real emotional weight.

A softer Lara, even if the adventure stumbles.

Tomb Raider’s Shangri-La arc falls a bit flat on thrills, but it shines in character. It reveals a more caring, sensitive Lara Croft—an emotional depth rarely explored in these comics at the time.

Dead Center leans into pulpy Tomb Raider fun. The Midnight Squires feel like a real, looming threat, stacking the odds against Lara. Sadly, their leader falls a bit too fast, blunting the payoff. Still a brisk, entertaining romp.

Ancient Futures is pulpy Tomb Raider fun: dinosaurs on the loose, Morgan Le Fay wielding the Merlin Stone to control Chase, and a globe-trotting threat that feels ripped from classic Lara adventures. Pure, nostalgic chaos.
