Vivacia (a boat) ate Wintrow’s severed finger. Ew!! It said that she keeps it in her gullet?? How does she absorb it? Does it decompose and rot inside her? How much can her gullet hold? And why eat it in the first place??

Kyle is the worst. Not sure he can be redeemed. But why did Ephron write such a terrible will that enables Kyle to do whatever he wants?? Something is fishy here…

I DNFed this book 3 years ago while I was on vacation. I don’t think it is because the book was bad, I just didn’t have enough time to read it and then never finished it. I thought it would be good to pick up again since I just finished the Farseer trilogy and this is the next in the series. Wish me luck!

I thought we were gonna see Kyle’s soft spot but there isn’t one. He just needs to shut up
