very interesting. i learned in India “families that cannot afford cremation, but want their dead loved ones to go into the Ganges, will place the entire body into the river, leaving it to decompose there. there are so many corpses in the river that the Indian government releases thousands of flesh eating turtles to chomp away at the necrotic pollutants.”

i don’t usually read nonfiction but im excited for this
