@Whiskeyinthejar hmm. People must have nostalgia toward it. Its good, but not blowing me away. Im annoyed at the moment because the characters decided to make a choice, and it seems odd to me. Like, why go there??? Have you considered talking? Haha. I guess it could surprise me since I'm only halfway through so far. Could just be my personal preference clouding my impression. I was hoping for more Beauty and The Beast vibes. Eh.

@Whiskeyinthejar i know right?! It's less forced miscommunication, more social constructs, and location/class distinctions and simple male/female dynamics in the historical setting, but still. It's an elaborate scheme that ultimately circles back to a similar place in the end, and is just not my personal cup of tea. (This is all conjecture, and also just my preference obvi.)
