Reading this book as a Child Neurologist who has a Miller Diker patient makes me think about My patient’s mom’s process.

As a child neurologist, I still can’t digest alina’s feeling finding out that her daughter might be a “vegetable”. It made me so uncomfortable when the doctor offered her a “way out” but it also made me feel so compassioned about her actions. What a book.
