I don’t care how cringy it is…I will always love an author self-inserting their love and appreciation for book/libraries as a weirdos safe place. It’s so overdone but (in my opinion) only bc those that feel the need to write understand how deep and desperate loneliness can be and how stories and their characters can be our greatest salvation and our closest companions.
