I did something very out of character today, and that was putting this book on my best books of the century list after barely having started it.
This book friends, this book. It sat on my shelf for years, and I admit to letting the 600+ paged tome intimidate me - I don’t know why I shy away so intensely from door stoppers but here we are.
Anywho, wow. What a writer Wilkerson is! I am going to savor this one.
