“Pish posh […] Your friends would know. And I doubt they’d allow it, not even for a moment. Perhaps you’ll be lost at some point, but they will find you.”
“That,” Vic said, voice barely carrying above the wind. “That’s at least a part of my happiness, I think. Knowing I’d be found.”

[SPOILERS] “You said that Victor was […] a ‘last gasp.’ What did you mean by that?” […]
[…] “there hasn’t been a human on this earth for centuries. They are, for lack of a better word, extinct. Created by Giovanni on orders from the Authority, the HARPs hunted down every last one of them […] As far as I know, Victor is the only human left in the world.” … Did none of them piece that together? I thought it was obvious

[SPOILERS] “What is it like? Does it ache? Does it burn? Or does it fill you with joy?”
[…] “All of it. All at once. […] I d-don’t remember what it was I-like before. If I did what I was m-made to, then I d-d-don’t want to remember. I w-want to stay as I am n-now. With my f-friends.”
[…] “He’s a Hysterically Angry Puppet, but he’s our Hysterically Angry Puppet.”
And wonder of all wonders, Hap smiled down at him.” T^T

[SPOILERS] “Why is he speaking about humans in the past tense?” Did they not get that they were all killed by Gio and Hap? I already thought it was weird that Vic expected to meet humans on the road, but I chalked it up to denial
But it seems they didn’t get it after all?

[SPOILERS] “Nothing they found in any files Gio had left behind gave any indication of where the City of Electric Dreams could be.” Well DUH, that’s, like, the ONE THING he wouldn’t want you to find

“What you are feeling now might be considered happiness.”
“It’s terrible,” Hap said. “I want to p-punch something.” And with that, he turned and began to punch the metal walls of the bunker.
“This is so nice,” Rambo said to no one at all.” They are such weirdos. I love them.

“What would you do if I’d been taken?” Vic asked her.
[…] I would forget you existed. It would take me two days, four hours, and seven minutes.”
He stared at her.
“Fine […] I would consider feeling slightly despondent at your forced absence, and then do everything in my power to ensure you returned with most—if not all—of your limbs intact.”
[…] “Because I’m yours,” he said. “Like you’re mine.”
“Yes.” I LOVE THEM

[SPOILERS] “He moved toward Hap, who looked as if he’d rather be anywhere but here. […]
To the machine, he said, “Do you want to hurt me?”
Hap shook his head. He glanced at Vic, then looked away again.
“Good. Because I need your help.”
Hap’s eyes widened as his head jerked up. “Wh-why? With wh-what?”
And Victor Lawson said, “We’re going to find my father. We’re going to find him and bring him home.” Of course T_T
