I am on the one hand enjoying the pacing of the story but on the other am finding the FMC a bit of a pain. I understand anxiety and what have you, but this feels way too extreme plus the guy was grieving and I feel that because he let her know that he needed to leave it wasn’t that he just felt like it. I found her a bit of selfish beep atm.

I do like this and I am enjoying it, I am just not convinced by the romance at certain points and it feels way too quick, rushed and slightly forced like the whole angst and anxiety just seem a bit off to me and a certain scene had me questioning whether the author had forgotten about how uncomfortable someone would feel in that scenario.
