I might be wrong but Jenny seems like a bit of a narcissist.

You know in murder mystery programmes when the victim walks into the room and looks at the camera and goes "oh it's you, what are you doing here?" before getting killed by the person the camera was meant to represent? Yeah this book is making me think of that.
