I really wanted to love this book. I did enjoy having Filipino culture represented. Dalisay was the ultimate Filipina MC. Definitely enjoyed the first few chapters, some parts corny, some parts cute. She had Evan chasing her around forcing him to follow her culture, it got a bit too much. All their conversations and interactions were about how it’s not acceptable in Filipino culture. Almost DNF’d.
