I genuinely hate this book

I don’t understand how she can be in love with someone who caused her so much harm. This is either Stockholm Syndrome or very poorly written

Dom reminds me of Ash Bernard in all the ways i want someone to come, sweep me off my feet, and save me from myself. And then!! He’ll pull some shit and completely ruin my good image of him. He is literally insane and i WANT to say this is all a trauma response from his job in ~ the mafia ~ but a lot of his shitty actions go beyond that. At least i’m getting ideas for my own mafia romance

okay i am starting to like Dominic again. but he better watch himself. he is on thin ice in my mind

I am only reading this for the sake of book club. I DO NOT like it

I am ready to DNF this book but i will continue for the sale of book club. This feels like a dubcon. The girl doesnt even remember the night she made this life changing decision, letting alone making the decision. This feels icky.
