It’s a smut book not a romance book. All cliche/cheesy tropes possible in one book. Instant lust/no trust building, predictable third act conflict like the first time ex was introduced in the book. The way they talk to each other doesn’t make sense for the amount of relationship building. Was there a plot in this book?

I just don’t see them liking each other beyond the physical that’s why he immediately thinks it’s her fault bc there’s no trust. If u understand her as a person then u wouldn’t think she did that.
