Yup. You can tell that this was the chapter Mafi was most excited to write. And I ate it up.

Okay halfway check in: up until now, I think my biggest gripe about this book was that the pacing was really slow. It’s not that nothing was happening—I was getting important pieces of information and felt the dominos getting lined up. However, sometimes the introspection lasted for so long that I was wishing for more external info to shake things up. But now! Now I’m excited, I feel the wait will be worth it

Mafi’s writing style is growing on me, kinda had to settle into it. But now that we’re getting more dialogue I’m loving it
