i haven't read more but i wanna add more thoughts maybe i hate this book because it has literally nothing new or interesting to say that i haven't read so so many times before, i don't understand who this book is for, young people already feel all this dread and reading about it brings no value no new perspective and people who maybe learn something will never read this book

i should have dnfed before i had sunk hours into this book now i have to finish it even tho i know it'll be a one star read this book is trying to be so smart but everything it wanted to say was said in the first 25 pages and the rest of it is just dull nothingness and repetition this could have been good if it was a short story or at max 100 pages novella but NO it's almost 300 pages of boring

i'm so bored

really not connecting with this i am so incredibly bored AND people turning to religion during an apocalypse will literally never be interesting to me
