It’s like a Monday without coffee. It feels like it’s never going to end. However I think I might finally be understanding this better

I’m going to need stronger glasses to read the size 8 font “footnotes” for the English translations. The last 7 pages were in complete French with English footnotes in mini font. I get it…but also why?

My current favorite quote; “I’m afraid you write a lot of nonsense.” Kinda how I feel…

Ok I get why this is hard to read. I’ve gotten almost all 35 characters introduced in the first 60 pages and most of them have 3 different variations of their names. The plot is everywhere and there is writing that just doesn’t need to be there. I’m going to give it a chance still but like come on.

I asked each person in my house to pick a book for me and my lovely eldest child picked this. My goal is to finish this by the end of the year.
