This reads like a short, rushed, cheap and bland mash-up of several of Anne Rice’s Vampire Chronicles. The angst, the morals, the innocent naïve object of a vampires obsession, the lore, the narcissism and absolute lunacy are all there. Yet the book lacks any sense of humour, killing any chance of me finish it.
