i thought it was gonna be uphill from the ending of book one but 1/3 into the book and i just feel bored; the politics are kids play compared to green bone saga and Darrow is like a barely passing god complex character (i see the intention, but the writing is surface level; is this what i get from coming directly from ORV?) also they let him do whatever he wants for no reason.. waiting to see the action tho
