It's not any more difficult than other languages to learn, but it is quite different than other European languages.

For example, sentences start with the verb, not the subject, and there is no basic present tense (= we do), only a continuous (= we are doing) in the spoken language.

For me, the words just don't have any glue, so I have to practice/read a lot to remember them!
