trying my best to empathize with all of these characters, but one character *cough* felix *cough* is pissing me right off right now. he's was so cruel in chapter 21 and for what reason?

the more sally rooney i read, the more clear her style becomes. i don't mean that in a particularly good or bad way. none of the characters stand out to me in any special way as of right now, but i'm only 22% into the book so that may very well change.
