Dixie’s Reviews > Holy Living and Dying: Rules and Exercises for a Devout Life and a Peaceful Death > Status Update

How can it take 30 pages to say “Life is short and everybody dies, so don’t build up treasures in this world but in the next”? I don’t but somehow this author has accomplished it.

Brevity your name is not Jeremy Taylor. He learned to love a run-on sentence from Paul I think.

Also I got a good snicker out of “time for prayers and ejaculations.” I assume that’s used in the sense of like “Hallelujah” and “Praise God” but still LOL.
