Chapter 12 testing hunger … “of course I worked. I worked my ass off” followed up a few pages later by “I was now required to work 20 hours a week - between five and ten hours more than I could do - to receive food benefits”
Okay I’m sorry working 10 - 15 hours a week is not “working your ass off”. And the fact she’s still considering another child … smh I can’t with this woman.

okay I think I reach my limit on how much I can tolerate this woman. YOURE DRINKING WINE WHILE YOURE PREGNANT?! IN 2015?!?!
I’m sorry but I can’t. Like you’ve already written about how your “kid” is underweight and malnourished. Now you’re drinking while pregnant. Yup and it’s your RIGHT to have a child and it’s you’re child’s RIGHT to have food and not be born with fetal alcohol syndrome

I’m trying not to judge too much but it just feels so “woe is me” and “the consequences of my actions are subpar?!”.
also like, cool if you wanna follow your dreams + passions when you know it’s not always profitable … but then stop complaining about being so broke and how hard your life is. You have choices. I find this aspect leaves me having a hard time relating or having genuine empathy.
