That 90% mark rlly isn't that traumatic if you don't like Jude and/or think this story is 400 pages too long

For an author who likes to describe everything in excruciating detail, I'm surprised that she decided to contain THIS scene in like 5 sentences and write it like an off-hand comment, lol

I have to give it to the author that she certainly has a talent for coming up with a lot of words that result in not much substance
