Reading an Indiana author, I see! It's been so long ago I barely remember it, but we went to Stratton-Porter's house on a field trip for school when I was little.

I'm so glad you've enjoyed it! There's a PBS movie as well, made in the late 80s early 90s. I remember liking it at that time, but I don't know how it compares to the book, since I read (at least in part) it as a grown up.
